ABOUT
Rachel is a 4 time grant recipient for her artistic work. She is the co-founder of Forefront Studios, an artist-driven production company with women at the center on screen and and behind the scenes. Her projects include Raising ASD, a docudrama that received the 2020 DCA Art Fund and a NYFA City Artist Corps Grant award. Her directorial feature documentary, Urban Farmers received the 2014 DCA Premier Grant and online worldwide distribution. Her past acting credits include, Raising ASD , Hear Them Roar, The Miracle Worker, Siamese Cycle, 17 to Midnight, and The 7 Day Diary. Rachel studied acting at NYU, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She attended the Professional Screenwriting Program at UCLA. She holds a MA in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities from NYU Steinhardt. While at NYU, she spent a summer studying theatre at Trinity College, Dublin.
